I'm a high school teacher/architect. Was looking at adheshive RFIDs for tagging student notebooks for easier grading/commenting. I ended up at Spark Fun and whatched a Tim video about RFIs. You were in the Utube window to the right and it said "RFID with LCD HOW TO" I am mechanical not electrical or electronic person and I hate, and suck, at programing, but your video sucked me in. It was infromative and easy to follow. I partuculary found that when I went to full screen to read your computer screen in the video it was very clear. Would you mind sharing the name of the software or how you got you screen to show up so well in the video? I'm looking for an easy way to record and show my students what I am doing using Autodesk Inventor software. An aside and why I watched your video is, I'm going to try putzing with the Spark Fun Olimex module. It plugs into usb, and for $40 if I can make anything happen. I might be able to walk around with a tiny little tablet, wave it at a student notebook write in notes or comments to a comment list or something like that.

Thanks
Ray Jenkins

Totally new to programming and this whole Arduino thing. That being said, I was wondering if you think it is possible to broadcast the audio off an Icecast server with an Arduino? Maybe even have it broadcast remotely from a LAN line? You could easily set up a cheap FCC Part-15 radio network if there is a way...

The transmitter code syntax is incorrect and won't compile. Does anyone know what the correction should be. I've tried to guess the intent, but it is not obvious.
How can we get it corrected?

Jonny says...
Check right before the void setup, something has the // before it when it shouldnt

// ### INC ### Increment Register (reg = reg + 1)
Thats the only one right before void setup
if i remove the // it throws another compile error @ me
thanks for trying anyway

The code you made for the AM transmitter won't work.

It says error: 'ivoid' does not name a type in function 'void dit()'
Bad error line: -2

Can someone help.

Thank you for the project.
I'm not very much into programming, but can you guide me on how to change the broadcasting frequency to another desired channel?

and what about broadcasting over FM?

Hey man thanks for the LCD tutorial. I could not get mine working for the life of me following the arduino sites tutorials, they all seemed backwards! Thanks for figuring out the correct wiring and posting it, it was a huge help!!
